Club Championship Tournament

Our annual Oceana Golf Club Championship consists of a Championship Flight, Handicap Flight, Senior Flight, Super Senior Flight, and Ladies Flight. The game is played by the holes in Match Play.

This members-only event will compete in various flights. The Championship Flight played from the Blue Tee Markers with no handicap involved, the Handicap Flight played from the Blue Tee Markers with handicaps playing off the lower of the two handicaps, the Senior Flight played from the White Tee Markers with handicaps playing off the lower of the two handicaps, and the Super Senior and Ladies Flights played from the Gold Tee Markers with handicaps playing off the lower of the two handicaps.

It is Match Play, and the game is played by holes. A hole is won by the side which holes its ball in the fewest amount of strokes. The reckoning of holes is kept by the terms: so many “holes up,” or “all square,” and so many to play.

The Great Pumpkin Open

Celebrate fall and get into the Halloween spirit with our Great Pumpkin tournament. Milder temperatures and autumn colors make for a welcome backdrop for competitive rounds involving two-person teams.
