A real par five, the tee shot is all uphill and usually into the wind. If you can hit it over the first hill, it will roll down. But if it doesn’t get to the bottom, you will be saddled with a steep downhill lie about 260 yards out. No advantage unless you can get to the bottom, which requires more than what most golfers have. The huge green is a pedestal style with a severe back to front slope. Hitting it past the hole with your approach will normally be a three-putt, so short on the green is better.
