Yes, subject to course conditions, golf is currently included in a group of outdoor businesses that are allowed to operate while following safety precautions of social distancing and sanitation policies.

Yes, two riders are allowed per golf cart starting June 8.

After use, golfers must clean out all trash and recyclables in the bins provided and park carts in the “used cart area” to be properly sanitized by staff. Sanitized carts are available for pick-up in the “sanitized cart area.”

Before:

  • Tee times must be scheduled in advance, no walk-ins.
  • Payments are asked to be contact-less, made online or by phone.
  • If able, drive separately from other golfers unless you live in the same household.
  • Maximum of four golfers per group.
  • Gathering is allowed before round (up to 10 people inside and up to 100 people outside) with social distancing rules in effect.
  • The clubhouse is open for up to 10 people, social distancing rules in effect. Oceana Golf Club is required to refuse entry or service to people who refuse to wear a face covering, with limited exceptions. Our golfers are required to wear a face covering inside the clubhouse, or outside if social distancing cannot be maintained. Restrooms are available.
  • Food, beverage, and alcohol sales are permitted as of June 8.
  • Maintain six feet at all times.

During:

  • Tee times are spaced to avoid multiple foursomes from clustering or gathering at any stage of the course.
  • Flagsticks must be left in and EZ-Lyfts are installed at each hole for touch-less ball retrieval.
  • Rakes and ball washers are available as of June 8.
  • Maintain six feet at all times.

After:

  • Golfers must clean carts of all trash and recyclables in the bins provided and park carts in the “used cart area” to be properly sanitized by staff.
  • Gathering is allowed after round (up to 10 people inside and up to 100 people outside) with social distancing rules in effect.
  • Maintain six feet at all times.

Golf carts, pull carts, restrooms, touch points in and outside of the clubhouse, and other equipment is sanitized by staff after each use and intermittently in 15 minute intervals where appropriate.

Staff are also increasing frequency of hand washing and sanitation of equipment. Equipment isn’t to be shared between employees unless properly sanitized.
